TOM Fletcher has missed Saturday's live show, Strictly Come Dancing after he went into ten days of isolation.
The McFly frontman, 36, and Amy Dowden tested positive for Covid after the opening programme.
When will Tom Fletcher return to Strictly Come Dancing?
The celebrity dancer will only be allowed back on the show if he tests negative in time for next week's show.
A BBC spokesman this week told The Sun: "Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden have tested positive for Covid-19.
"The pair are now self-isolating separately following the latest government guidelines.
"While they will both miss Saturday’s live show, Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week."
However, it is feared Tom might miss another show if he feels unwell when the isolation period is over.
A source said: "Amy and Tom need to be isolated until Tuesday at least and then they will have to undergo another Covid test and make sure they are fit and well enough to train.
"It means they aren’t likely to get back into full rehearsals until Wednesday which means they face a race against time to learn their routine.
"Amy is sharing ideas, steps and moves via video for Tom. They are both determined that as soon as they are able to start training again that they will be able to hit the ground running. Tom has been watching them all taking it in and chatting to Amy all the time.
"The lack of time is another reason why Amy has been giving Tom plenty of homework to do from his sickbed."
The McFly star kicked off the first live show of the series when he performed a showstopping Cha Cha Cha to September by Earth, Wind & Fire.
On Saturday he posted an emotional shot of his separation from his wife and kids.
The snap showed Giovanna Fletcher, cuddling their youngest Max from behind the window of a white door.
The dad of three captioned the photo with an emoji with heart-shaped eyes as well as a crying face.
His dance partner Amy, has publicly acknowledged she is vaccinated as she was offered her jabs at an early stage due to the fact she suffers from Crohn's Disease.
She posted on Instagram on Saturday: "Unfortunately Tom and I have tested positive for Covid-19.
"I'm not suffering any symptoms but am now isolating at home.
"I have no doubt that over the next 10 days my mind will be going crazy with choreography ideas ready to get back on the Strictly dance floor for the live show in week 3.
"Thank you for all of the support and good luck to all of the couples this week. I will be cheering you all on."
