It’s become an annual tradition for When Calls the Heart fans. The Hearties Family Reunion is a one-of-a-kind event that brings the biggest supporters of the Hallmark Channel show to Vancouver, British Columbia, where they can visit the When Calls the Heart set and meet the show’s cast and crew.
The organizers recently announced the dates for the 2019 Hearties Family Reunion. Here’s what you need to know if you’re interested in attending.
The 2019 Hearties Family Reunion will be held from October 4-6, 2019
Mark your calendars! This year’s Hearties Family Reunion will take place from October 4-6 in the greater Vancouver area.
The $325 registration fee includes the Hearties Launch Party, the day-long Meet the Stars event, a special movie night, and a tour of the Hope Valley set. Attendees will also get a Hearties swag bag, dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and bus transportation for the set tour.
How to register for the Hearties Family Reunion
The Hearties Family Reunion is an exclusive event, with spots available for just 325 fans. In order to accommodate the high level of interest, registration is done via an “Opportunity Drawing.”
Registration for the drawing began on July 8 and is open through July 14 at 8 p.m. ET. If you want to attend the reunion, you must register online. (You can register for a maximum of two tickets). After registration for the drawing closes, 325 people will be chosen at random. If you’re lucky enough to be chosen, you’ll receive an email notification. You’ll have 48 hours to complete your registration and pay for your ticket.
Complete information on how to register for the Opportunity Drawing is available at the Hearties Family Reunion website.
Which ‘When Calls the Heart’ stars will be at this year’s reunion?
The “Meet the Stars” day is one of the highlights of the Hearties Family Reunion. A list of which stars will be attending this year’s reunion hasn’t been revealed yet. However, Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Chris McNally, Pascale Hutton, Daniel Lissing, and Kavan Smith were among the cast who attended last year’s event. Jocelyn Hudon and Morgan Kohan, who will star in the upcoming spinoff series When Hope Calls, were also there. Janette Oke, the author whose novels inspired the series, even attended the 2018 reunion.
One star fans likely won’t see at this year’s event is Lori Loughlin. The actress has attended the Hearties Family Reunion in the past but was fired from When Calls The Heart earlier in 2019 because of her alleged involvement in a college admissions bribery scam.
In addition to hearing from the show’s stars, Hearties will also get to see the real-life Hope Valley. The reunion concludes with a special visit to the Jamestown movie set, where the show is filmed.
The Hearties Family Reunion is a hit
Based on fan comments on Instagram, the Hearties Family Reunion is a can’t-miss event.
“So much fun! Loved every minute,” wrote one attendee. “I count this past weekend as one of the best weekends of my life!” another said.
