Virgin River season three is on Netflix now and the series continued to follow the relationship between Preacher (played by Colin Lawrence) and Paige’s (Lexa Doig) son Christopher (Chase Petriw). Paige had accidentally killed her abusive ex-husband, Wes (Steve Bacic), and she confided in Preacher to help her escape. In season three she remained absent, but Wes’s brother Vince (Ian Tracey) returned to the town to get his revenge.

Does Connie die in Virgin River season 3?

The third season of Virgin River left fans on the edge of their seats as it included some shocking moments.

Young Christopher was still under the care of Preacher, as his mother Paige remained in hiding following Wes’s death.

Preacher started to doubt he was a suitable carer for Christopher as their relationship felt strained.

However, Connie (Nicola Cavendish) was on hand to help out as Preacher had turned to her out of desperation when he attempted to help Paige.

Across the season, Christopher started to bond more with Preacher and respect him as his primary carer.

Still, he missed his mother deeply and fans were wondering whether Paige would ever return.

Towards the end of the season, Paige’s friend tracked down Preacher, who had seen Vince back in town.

She said Paige was prepared to hand herself in and Preacher needed to try and persuade her otherwise.

He agreed to go with Paige’s friend, and he was taken to a secluded location in the woods before he was drugged.

Paige’s friend had slipped something into a drink she had bought him, and he was left unconscious, with his phone stolen.

Meanwhile, Christopher and Connie returned home to find Preacher’s house empty, and they wondered where he could be.

Little did they know, Vince had managed to gain access into the house and he was waiting for them in the shadows.

This has led fans to wonder whether Vince will kill Connie and take Christopher away.

By the end of the season, Connie was still alive, but she is likely to come face to face with Vince in season four.

There is a chance Vince wishes to take Connie out of the picture as she knew what Wes had been capable of.

Vince is likely to want custody of Christopher following his brother’s death, and he would need to remove all obstacles.

If Connie was to remain alive, she would reveal all about how Wes was an abusive husband and how Christopher should stay with Paige and Preacher.

With this in mind, it is entirely possible Connie could be killed or perhaps threatened to stay silent.

Fans have raised concerns over the whole storyline, expressing how Preacher would never have left town without telling anyone.

One said on Reddit: “There is no way Preacher, being the one primarily responsible for taking care of Christopher, would have gone off without telling Connie or Jack where he was going.

“Preacher should have grown somewhat suspicious of Paige’s friend when she suggested that they go somewhere more private to talk as they were alone at that restaurant table and people were not that close that they could overhear.

“Then, when she brought him a soda from the gas station but never touched the drink she bought for herself.

“Add to that, going with her to an isolated part of the forest after driving away from Virgin River. However, once he doesn’t show up at the Bar or return to see about Christopher, it will be up to Jack, Will and Brady to come together to find out what has happened to him and to eventually rescue him.”

As Connie and Christopher were the only two in the house at the end, it may be a while before anyone finds out what happened to them.

Virgin River seasons 1-3 are on Netflix now.
