Tipping Point fans in stitches as Ben Shephard asks about player’s ‘danglers’

Tipping Point host Ben Shephard had ITV viewers in stitches when he accidentally let slip a rather rude-sounding comment about a female player's 'danglers'.

On Wednesday's episode, four new contestants – Peter, Lotty, Billy and Yvonne – walked into the studio to try their luck at beating the infamous coin-pusher machine.

However, one poor player certainly wasn't prepared for presenter Ben Shephard's outrageous on-air mistake – where he burst out with a line that sounded incredibly rude to the un-trained ear.

Billy, a cabin crew member from Leicester, needed four counters to catch up with Lotty, a nursing student from Somerset, but Ben's awkward blooper made her the centre of attention during the show.

As Billy played his counter into the machine at drop zone 2, Ben said: "Could get your hands on Lottie's danglers there, they're just waiting to go".

Unfortunately for Ben, it wasn't long before eagle-eyed Tipping Point viewers spotted the racy-sounding line and took to Twitter to make a whole host of naughty jokes.

One baffled fan said: "Did Ben say Lottie's danglers?"

A second viewer wrote: "Lottie's danglers? Eww"

A third penned: "Not sure he could handle Lottie's danglers!"

A fourth commented: "Watching Tipping Point on ITV and Ben said that Billy may get Lottie's danglers" with a confused-looking emoji.

A fifth simply said: "Lottie's Danglers? Dirty tw*t!"

Despite beating Yvonne who was sent packing after the first round, Lotty sadly didn't make it to the final as she was kicked off before Billy with a total of £600.

Billy managed to make it to the penultimate round before he lost out to Essex taxi driver, Peter who went through to the final.

He didn't manage to nab the £10k jack pot, but the taxi driver walked away with an impressive £3400 at the end of the show.

Tipping Point airs at 4pm on ITV.
