Which artists are going to the finale?

[Spoiler alert: The following story contains spoilers for The Voice Season 21 Episode 24, “Live Top 8 Eliminations.”]

Results round 1

Carly Pearce opened the show with a performance of her country hit “29,” which earned her the Country Music Award for Female Vocalist of the Year just a few weeks ago. Then, host Carson Daly unveiled the first results. After her performance that left all four coaches speechless on Monday, Team Blake’s Wendy Moten will move forward.

John treated viewers to some holiday spirit with his new single, “You Deserve It All.” Decked out in a green velvet suit, the coach delivered a jazzy and upbeat performance that hyped up the crowd for the rest of the evening.

Results round 2

America saved Team Kelly’s Girl Named Tom, another fan-favorite and the first group in The Voice history to make it to the Top 5. Additionally, Team Blake’s Paris Winningham will move forward.

Next, Blake brought on the country vibes with his new single, “Come Back as a Country Boy.” A country boy is all he knows how to be.

Results round 3

The final results saved one more artist: Team Kelly’s Hailey Mia. That meant Team Ariana’s Jim and Sasha Allen, Team Blake’s Lana Scott, Team Legend’s Joshua Vacanti, and Team Legend’s Jershika Maple would move on to Wildcard Instant Save performances.

Wildcard Instant Save performances

Lana kicked off the Instant Save performances with “Things a Man Oughta Know.” Kelly said she loved Lana’s country sound and said the genre needed voices like her. Blake agreed, adding that the rendition showcased every part of her talents.

Joshua chose to sing “My Heart Will Go On,” once again showing off his Broadway-esque, operatic style. Kelly said the singer “slayed” the classic Celine Dion tune and encouraged him to do musical theater after The Voice, no matter what. John added that Joshua had a “stunning” voice.

Next, Jim and Sasha Allen took to the stage with “Rich Girl.” Both singers brought powerful energy to the stage. Kelly said the father-son duo always work well together, and Ariana broke out in tears while talking about their “infectious” energy.

Finally, Jershika chose “There is Power,” a gospel tune. The singer felt moved to tears by her own performance, and John said she didn’t deserve to be in the Bottom 4.

And the Wildcard Instant Save winner is … Jershika Maple! When The Voice returns on Monday, Dec. 13, the Top 5 artists will perform.

Team standings:

  • Kelly: Girl Named Tom, Hailey Mia
  • Legend: Jershika Maple
  • Ariana: Eliminated
  • Blake: Wendy Moten, Paris Winningham
