THE Mandalorian fans have been left horrified after they 'booked the day off work' to binge season two – and got a nasty shock.
The second series of the hit Star Wars space western launched on Disney+ today, with die hard fans desperate to find out what happens next to Mando and The Child.
But some got a little bit too carried away with themselves, booking the whole day off to devour the season in one go, only to discover just one episode on the streaming service.
The other episodes will drop once a week on a Friday, meaning the fans had to find something else to fill the rest of their day off.
Taking to Twitter, the die hard fans shared their horror at their mistake.
One wrote: "What a start to season 2! #ThisIsTheWay. (I may have taken the day off work expecting to binge, completely forgetting that episodes will be released weekly – #ThisIsNotTheWay)."
Another tweeted: "@disneyplus why couldn't you release the entire season 2 of @themandalorian!? Some of us wanted to binge it today!"
A third added: "That was a good 1st episode. Just wish I could binge the whole season."
Meanwhile a fourth agreed, writing: "oh wow! The Marshal was a superb episode to kick off season 2 of #TheMandalorian on @DisneyPlusUK.
"some big moments in the episode, but no spoilers from me just wish they'd drop the whole season so we could binge it, but all good things come to those who wait I suppose."
There is a lot of excitement to come in the second series if the trailer is anything to go by.
It opens with Mando crash landing on an icy planet as he is chased by enemy spacecraft, before it cuts to the bounty hunter reuniting with Cara Dune and Greef Karga.
Carrying The Child – aka Baby Yoda to fans – he tells them: "I'm here on business, I need your help. I've been quested to bring this one back to its kind."
They aren't the only people Mando hopes will help him on his quest, as he attempts to find his own tribe.
He says in another scene: "If I can locate other Mandalorians, they can guide me."
The Mandalorian season two episode one is available on Disney+ now with a new episode dropping every Friday.
