The Chase viewers were gobsmacked as they watched Chaser Anne Hegerty, aka The Governess, struggle to get her questions right in the final round.
Despite getting all four contestants to the final round, the group only managed to rack up 13 correct answers, with four points already given at the start.
But even with the seemingly easy task, Anne left viewers baffled as she struggled to get any answers right during the tense round.
Despite her struggles, Steph, Matt, Vicky and Paddy failed to get many of the pushback questions right, and weren't able to give themselves a bigger gap during the close final.
Anne was seen looking visibly flustered as she slowly made her way through the questions, sparking concern from viewers at home.
Despite her eventually managing to win, with only a few seconds to go, fans took to social media to comment that she "fell apart".
One posted: "She's getting more flustered than when she was in the jungle."
Another added: "Are you trying to throw this Anne?"
A third chipped in: "Anne's falling apart…"
A fourth wrote: "What’s happening today? The Governess is having a stinker of a round too."
As Bradley brought up her performance, Anne said: "If I lost that, that would've been the lowest score I ever lost to.
"So that would have been embarrassing."
Bradley replied: "That was extraordinary, seven opportunities to push back, caught with 11 seconds.
"I didn't think it would be that close, I really didn't."
He then thanked the players for coming on as he took the £20,000 prize away from them, before turning back to Anne.
She quickly said: "Well I won didn't I? Let's leave it at that."
The Chase continues on Monday at 5pm on ITV.
