Bradley Walsh welcomed four new players onto The Chase on Monday’s show. Martyn, Catherine, Richard and Katrina were the contestants taking on Chaser Mark Labbett in a bid to win a cash prize. The team had a successful start to the show, but when player Katrina stepped up to face Mark she revealed her unusual tactic that gave Bradley a shock.
Unfortunately, Katrina only managed to get £1,000 in her bank after the cash builder round.
Her teammates weren’t too phased by her performance and encouraged her to stick with the £1,000 after The Beast offered her higher and lower alternatives.
Still unsure of what to go for Katrina proceeded to say a rhyme to help her choose: “Ip, dip, doo.”
Shocked by Katrina’s method Bradley laughed, saying: “That’s never happened in 11 years!”
Mark agreed, saying: “There’s nothing you can say about that.”
“Fantastic I love it. You’re great fun,” Bradley said to Katrina.
More to come…
