Hannah Brown and first impression rose winner Luke P. have an intense connection established only a few episodes into this season of The Bachelorette. From night one at the mansion, the two had undeniable chemistry. Hannah B., from the beginning, has been encouraging her men to be bold, and bold is something Luke P. does naturally. He was the first contestant to pull her aside after her welcome toast on night one, and the only person to offer his comfort after she sent a contestant packing for coming on the show with a girlfriend.
Their connection only got steamier as the episodes progressed. During one of the early cocktail parties, Luke P. gave Hannah B. a sensual massage. His shirt came off at one point, Jed walked in, it was a whole thing.
“Even just kissing him there’ this chemistry that is just undeniable. Yeah, there is definitely a physical attraction there that accelerated way faster and off the charts compared to a lot of my other relationships. And that massage was one of those moments,” Hannah B. told ET in a recent interview.
Luke P.’s scary temper
Luke P. is an intense guy. It’s not shocking that he told Hannah B. he was falling in love with her so soon. But just as he is quick to love, based on the previews shown that tease the rest of the season, Luke P. is also quick to feel anger.
There’s a clip of Luke P. screaming in another contestant’s face that keeps getting teased. It’s alarming, but it’s not completely out of left field. Luke P. is becoming more and more unhinged with each episode. He’s a loose cannon.
Hannah B. told ET that she hadn’t seen the clip of Luke yelling at another contestant until it was aired.
“It’s going to be interesting for me to watch some of the things that happen because I only know what happens in the interactions that I have with the men and what they say to me and what I feel with them. I don’t know what happens anywhere else. So to see some of the things in the teasers I’m like ‘Huh, interesting,’” she said.
When ET’s Lauren Zima asked Hannah B. if she’s learning things about Luke P. that she didn’t previously know she answered:
“I think it’s possible. I didn’t know the extreme of that.”
In the most recent episode, we saw Hannah B. ask Luke P. to give her some space. She told him she likes him but she also has other connections to make. Hannah B. also told ET that she’s the type of person to zero in on one partner and that she felt herself doing that with Luke P. pretty early. She had to stop and force herself to tend to her connections with other men.
Several Bachelorettes have ended up with their first impression rose winners. Could Hannah B. be one of them?
“I don’t know,” she told ET when asked. “Of course I knew that was a thing, but when I gave out my first impression rose I wasn’t like ‘Ohp, well it’s Luke P. now.’ That wasn’t the reason. I wasn’t like ‘It’s Luke P. or bust.’ No,” she said.
