The police are swarming Hollyoaks village in the wake of the explosion which almost killed Yasmine Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) and undercover detectives know that it is the work of Stuart (Chris Simmons) and his far right group.
Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) has found himself out of his depth after Jonny (Ray Quinn) caused the blast with a device and the true nature of his own grooming and radicalisation started to hit home following some hard truths from Sami (Rishi Nair).
But Stuart’s mission now remains as sinister as ever and he determines to clear up the mess that has been made. Having warned Ste and Jonny that they have to do everything he says as the police start asking questions, Ste struggles to hold it together and knows he is trapped in a world where he should never have been in the first place.
Even with armed police surrounding them, Stuart is completely switched on to his group’s horrific cause and reasons that a public arrest may make them martyrs – but Imran (Ijaz Rana) has a plan to counter act the hate being spouted.
As Stuart, Jonny, Ste and Dave are all arrested, Stuart has a plan in mind. The police know that he is the ring leader and they have been working hard to crack his far right group – but will Ste follow his instructions or will the thoughts of his children, loved ones and his own actions lead to him finally doing the right thing?
It remains to be seen how Stuart plots to get out of this one and what it will mean for Ste and the the justice that the Maaliks deserve but if he manages to come out of this a free man, what will he plot next?
And could Ste be about to take the fall for the full plot?
Hollyoaks continues on Wednesday 18th September at 7pm on E4.
