AJ Odudu and her pro partner Kai Widdrington have an undeniable chemistry on and off the Strictly dance floor. It's therefore no surprise that the rumour mill has been churning with whispers of a romance between them.
AJ has previously said that "nothing will ever top" meeting Kai for the first time and the pro dancer is said to be "helping" AJ move through "past trust issues," but a new bit of kindling has recently been added to the fire which has got fans going wild.
In Strictly's weekly hidden mic footage, AJ can be heard saying, "I'm sorry baby," to Kai. It then sounds like he gives her a kiss and responds with a comforting, "Well done."
Despite the couple's tremendous run on the series so far, they failed to impress the judges last week (Saturday 13 November) and ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard.
AJ admitted she was "gutted" about the dress mishap which caused her to slip and lose her footing during the couple's powerful Paso Doble.
AJ took to her Instagram to comment on the incident: "Olé! Olé! I tell you what honestly, it’s hard. It’s hard enough dancing with Kai and let alone this skirt as well! I had two dancing partners out there, but I loved every moment and I hope everyone at home did, too."

AJ continued: "Gutted about the cheeky little slip on my dress during our power Paso tonight but I tried my best & we kept going. Olé!"
Thanks to support from the public, the pair avoided the dance off and sailed through to musicals week.
It was Sara Davies and Aljaz Skorjanec who ended up getting the boot after dancing against Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin.
Despite all the rumours and fan theories, Kai has said that the pair's sizzling chemistry is purely professional.

The pair were grilled by It Takes Two host Rylan Clark on Tuesday 26 October after their steamy Argentine Tango set viewers' imaginations on fire.
"If people react like this it means we're doing something right, because that's the way the dance should be danced," Kai answered diplomatically.
"So if people want to think that, then great… but we were just doing our job and [AJ] did a great job," he added.
