Spoilers: Liam in Emmerdale bans Leyla and Jacob from Leanna's funeral?

Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) proceeded in pushing Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) and Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant) away in Emmerdale tonight as his grieving ordeal following Leanna’s (Mimi Slinger) death continued.

Ever since Leanna’s death, Liam has isolated himself, too devastated to accept support from his wife or any of Leanna’s friends.

Yesterday, Liam sat down with Charles (Kevin Mathurin) to try and prepare his daughter’s funeral.

However, understandably finding things tough, Liam didn’t really cooperate.

Tonight (July 27), knowing Jacob wanted to help with preparations, Leyla gave Liam a folder with some ideas for the funeral.

Finding Leyla and Jacob, Liam was furious after reading the folder, convinced it was disrespectful to want Leanna’s friends and family to wear blue, or play music Liam hadn’t even heard of.

Jacob and Leyla pleaded with Liam to understand what they were trying to do, but the grieving father announced he didn’t want Jacob’s input at all.

Back at home, Leyla calmly tried to speak to her husband but, too devastated and consumed with emotion, Liam’s anger ensued again.

In tears, Liam told Leyla he’d have no choice but to plan everything on his own.

As Liam’s negative, angry behaviour continues, could he really go as far as banning Jacob and Leyla from the funeral?

We’ve seen how furious he gets when Leyla or Jacob say something he doesn’t agree with, could he do something he may end up regretting?
