Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) is about to face a new nightmare in Emmerdale as DI Malone gets set to wreck her life from beyond the grave.
The dead detective was shot dead by Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) when he tried to murder her and Harriet covered up the body with the help of Will (Dean Andrews).
But Malone is about to resurface – literally!
In the graveyard, Harriet’s distracted by a woman standing at the grave where Malone’s buried.
Later that day, Harriet’s anxiety leads her to bare her soul in prayer, however, she is left ashen after being interrupted by Jean, the woman from the graveyard.
Harriet offers her sympathies when Jean reveals she is the daughter of a man in the graveyard – buried beneath Malone. Harriet’s heart sinks when Jean reveals she’s planning on exhuming her father’s body.
The next day, Harriet calls the Bishop, determined to stop the exhumation. The Bishop announces she’ll be coming to visit Harriet in person, to discuss the matter.
Harriet panics, worrying this might lead to Malone’s body being discovered sooner rather than later.
Harriet tells Will and he’s panicked – something has to be done. Harriet’s feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders but what action will they take?
And is it game over for them all?
