Sex/Life is a saucy new series on Netflix that has stolen the number one spot in the streaming platform’s top 10. The series follows a housewife who dreams of rekindling her spicy relationship with her ex-boyfriend. Adam Demos plays the former flame Brad in the series, but did he really feature in the naked shower scene?

Fans are obsessing over Netflix’s latest romance drama which follows Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) – a mother and housewife.

She is married to her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) in the series and has two children, but she yearns for more excitement in her life.

Billie comes across an ex-boyfriend, Brad Simon, who she has not been able to forget about since they broke up.

Throughout the series, they explore the sexual tension and there are a number of unforgettable scenes.

In episode three, Brad is seen standing in the shower at the gym and fans saw everything.

They are wondering whether a body double or prosthetic was used, and the show’s creator, Stacy Rukeyser, has revealed all.

Speaking to Collider, she said: “No, that’s not a body double. I mean, people usually ask is it real or is it a prosthetic?

“I can tell you what Adam Demos says about it which is, a gentleman never tells. So, we are leaving that up to the viewer’s imagination.”

From this, it is not clear whether a prosthetic was used, but it sure is Demos in the shower.

The naked shower scene has become the most talked-about moment of the series, which has been described as a guilty pleasure.

Fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the jaw-dropping scene, and there was no holding back.

One said: “Watched Sex/Life on Netflix and that shower scene has got to be a prosthetic…”

Another said: “JFC, sex/life episode 3 gym shower scene! Wasn’t expecting to see that! No wonder Billie can’t forget about him!”

A third added: “The shower scene in sex/life was so scary I hid from my computer.”

Demos opened up about the scene and discussed nudity with Entertainment Weekly.

He said he had been OK with the naked scenes as he had prepared himself whilst reading the script.

He said: “I don’t think you would sign on to a show after reading the scripts and then say no last minute.”

The star had help from an intimacy coordinator, so he felt a lot safer exposing himself on camera.

The moment was not supposed to be purely sexual, and it instead represented intimidation.

Vogel’s character had become just as obsessed with Brad and it was Cooper who pursued Brad in the scene.

More fans have shared their thoughts on the unforgettable moment, with one saying: “I have one thing to say GO WATCH SEX LIFE!!!! Oh sweet lord….just for the shower scene #TeamBrad”

Another said: “Wow they really showed EVERYTHING in that shower scene on episode 3 in Sex/Life. I’m shook.”

Viewers may get to see more of Demos in a second outing, although this is yet to be confirmed.

The series was inspired by BB Easton’s book titled 44 Chapters About 4 Men.

There should be enough original source material to justify a second season, so fans can keep their fingers crossed.

Sex/Life is streaming on Netflix now.
