Sam Faiers has opened up on having more children, saying she would like another one when daughter Rosie heads to school.

The 29 year old is already mum to son Paul, four, and two year old daughter Rosie.

Speaking with her partner Paul Knightley on their hit ITVBe show The Mummy Diaries, the reality star has now opened up on the couple's plans to expand their brood.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam explained on Thursday night's show: "People that know us know that we've never been ones to send our kids to nursery, and look, I'm not against nursery at all, but when she is three I would definitely be looking to put her [Rosie] into a nursery.

"Or even the preschool where little Paul goes because she's just got so much energy. She's just going to be climbing the walls every day."

The show then cut to a picnic the family of four were enjoying in a local park after lockdown restrictions had started to ease.

Sam told her partner: "It's probably going to be a couple of years until, in the daytime, we have the house to ourselves. It's quite sad. That's when we have another baby."

Paul agreed: "That's when we have another baby," with Sam suggesting: "That's when we go on a little romantic getaway."

She continued: "Yeah but on a serious note, that will be the perfect gap when she goes to school, to have more babies, that's a good gap."

Picking up on Paul's hesitant facial expressions, Sam chimed: "I don't know why you're looking at me like all confused, you want six."

Paul protested: "No I don't. I said five, but that was before I had any kids."

Last week, Sam dropped little Paul off at school for the first time, admitting she "bawled her eyes out."

Taking to her Instagram feed to share an adorable black and white photo of her four year old, she opened up on the experience.

Clearly proud, Sam penned in the caption: "When your children are babies in your arms, you think far into the future about school and how it's years away.. well that day was today for us.
