Rita Ora won't flirt with Masked Singer contestants after being 'heartbroken' by Chameleon in series 1

RITA Ora says she won't flirt with The Masked Singer contestants after being "heartbroken" by Chameleon in series one.

The singer, 30, flirted up a storm with Chameleon in last year's series of the show – and even fantasised about having kids with the mystery celeb.

She even joked it could be boxer Anthony Joshua but was shocked to find it was The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins.

Rita has now vowed to stop flirting with the new batch for ITV's upcoming second series.

She said: "I thought I’d found my Prince Charming last season, what happened?! I didn’t have those expectations this season, I didn’t want to be heartbroken again."

The Masked Singer sees 12 series conceal their identities behind elaborate costumes, with the judging panel tasked with finding out their identities.

The show is hosted by Joel Dommett and has Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and newcomer Mo Gilligan judging.

Girls Aloud singer Nicola Adams won last year dressed as Queen Bee.

Rita was left red-faced last year when her masked crush turned out to be Justin Hawkins.

The beauty had a list of hunky men that she hoped were beneath the mask after falling for Chameleon's impressive physique and performance moves, and boxer Anthony Joshua was her first choice.

She even fantasised about having children with Chameleon, joking that meeting on The Masked Singer would be a great story to tell their kids.

But when he was actually revealed to be 44-year-old Justin she couldn't hide her shock – openly admitting that she had "gone red" with embarrassment.

After seducing Rita with a rose earlier in the episode, Justin then told host Joel Dommett that he is "quite single".

But in retaliation she hid her face while exclaiming: "I have absolutely gone red, I can't do this any more!"

Joel joked: "I've never seen anyone make Rita Ora blush before."

Still in disbelief, Rita continued: "This has blown me away, this has made me feel like we have absolutely no idea what's happening."

The Masked Singer returns Boxing Day at 7PM on ITV.
