Ovie Soko secretly left Love Island villa to play basketball, reveals Anton Danyluk – The Sun

LOVE Island's Ovie Soko was secretly let out of the villa to play basketball, his fellow islander Anton Danyluk has revealed.

The professional basketball player repeatedly demanded to be let outside of the compound so he could keep up his practice, and producers finally caved into his constant requests.

During the 'Love Island: Under The Duvet' interview on Heat's Youtube channel, Anton and his girlfriend Belle Hassan were quizzed about who was the most demanding islander.

"Ovie wanted a basketball," Anton, 24, told host Joshua Lee, while Belle added that the third-place finalist got what he wanted and was granted permission to go off camera to play his sport.

"He had to really whinge for it, but he got it," Belle revealed "After a lot of moaning, [the producers] came through."

Anton then explained how producers created a makeshift basketball court in front of the villa so that 6 foot 7 Ovie, who is on Great Britain's basketball team, could get his fix.

"It was in front of the garden, they would just bring it out at lunchtime or whatever," Anton let slip.

But it turns out Ovie, who has just been announced as a guest chef on ITV daytime show This Morning, wasn't the only one who made demands during their time on the show.

"Maura, she is a bit demanding," admitted Belle."She needs a cigarette…she is always demanding for something. She is always moaning: 'Curtis! Curtis!'"

Anton and Belle also disclosed that the cast regularly got McDonald's deliveries, a confession that will satisfy eagle-eyed fans who took to twitter during the run to point out tubs of McFlurries thst were left in shot.

"We had a few of them, we needed that," Belle admitted.

"I think it was about once a week or something you guys were getting them," Anton added, looking at Belle. "I had a few chicken nuggets here and there but I was trying to watch [my weight].

On a more serious note, Anton weighed in on the friction between him and Molly-Mae Hague after he unfollowed her on instagram.

Viewers of Sunday night's reunion show commented on how you could cut the tension between the pair with a knife on Sunday night's reunion show, but Anton –  who has sparked further fan fury by laughing at an instagram comment that called Molly "Money-Mae" – downplayed the drama.

"Me and Molly just don't click but at the end of the day, she is a lovely girl and there is no bad blood," he said. "It is what it is."
