Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) has made it her mission to obtain a confession from Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor) in Hollyoaks due to what he did to Sinead (Stephanie Davis), but she might find herself a bit too close for comfort during her next encounter with the rapist.
With Laurie having repeatedly demonstrated his sinister behaviour, Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) enlisted Nancy’s help in taking him down. The deputy head teacher refused to take the hint when Sienna rebuked his inappropriate actions, and thus she’s adamant that something drastic must to be done to put a stop to him. That’s where Nancy comes in.
Several weeks back, the two women began plotting against Laurie, and viewers became aware that they were willing to do whatever it took to get a confession out of him. This week, Sienna convinces Nancy to up her game by trying to trick him into confessing over a drink.
Nancy complies and invites Laurie out once more. However, with little time to prepare — not to mention Sienna piling on the pressure — could Nancy find herself in danger?
It certainly seems that way as the meeting with Laurie goes ahead — but the topic of conversation brings up some bad memories for her.
With her mind elsewhere, will Nancy be able to hide her true motivations behind their meeting from Laurie?
Laurie’s not one to be underestimated, and what with him having evaded justice time and again, he’s proven himself to be very clever.
Will he be able to see through Nancy’s act?
One to watch: Tuesday 18th June at 7pm on E4.
