Meet Bad Salsa – Britain's Got Talent: The Champions favourites and dancing duo

BRITAIN’S Got Talent: The Champions will see a host of international acts battle it out to be crowned the ultimate champion.

Bad Salsa are just one of the performers from outside the UK competing in Simon Cowell’s revamped series. Here is what you need to know about them…

Who is Bad Salsa?

Sonali won India’s Got Talent series four and Sarder was a semi-finalist in series six and seven.

The dancing duo will compete in the British version of the show to be crowned the ultimate champion.

Sonali was just seven-years-old when she won the show in 2012 with her then dance partner Maraju Sumanth.

Sonali and Sarder are taught by Bivash Sir at The Best Dance Company, one of the best dance academies in India.

When were Bad Salsa on Got Talent?

Sonali appeared in the fourth series of India’s Got Talent and won, while Sarder made it to the semi-finals in series six and seven.

As a prize for winning the competition the children were handed a cheque worth Rs 50 lakh from Shah Rukh Khan with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

They became household names after appearing in their respective series and are a huge hit with viewers in India.

What have Bad Salsa been up to since Got Talent?

The talented duo have performed across India since appearing on the show and have made a number of television appearances.

They have even toured Hong Kong and are regular performers at the Mr India contest.

Also, they often keep their fans updated via social media by sharing videos of their routines on Facebook.

When will Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions be on TV?

ITV have confirmed the BGT spin-off will start on Saturday, August 31.

The series will run for six weeks – with this in mind the show is likely to end on October 5, 2019.

We know that the final was taped at Wembley Arena at the end of July.
