Tonight's Love Island final will see each of the four couples – Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, India Reynolds and Ovie Soko, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, and Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins – each declare their feelings to each other ahead of the winning couple's announcement.
But Maura sees it as a chance to have a dig at her love rival Amy Hart as she pens a gushing message to ballroom dancer Curtis.
Despite getting angry with him last week for refusing to have sex with her, Maura is still keen to let the long-departed Amy know she's truly won the prize – even if she doesn't end up with the £50,000 in cash.
The Islanders are told that the boys will have to go to a dance masterclass to brush up on their moves before the Love Island 2019 Summer Ball.
As the lads attempt to learn a full dance routine, the girls get a text saying they're being whisked off to shop for their gowns.
On their return, all the Islanders must work on their declarations of love, which will be read out at the end of the night.
Only Molly-Mae and Tommy have exchanged the L-word, while the other three are still in reasonably early days of their respective romances.
Greg points out to the boys: "For the four of us, we're all in different stages of our relationships obviously, we're kind of at different levels."
But that doesn't stop the other lads from penning heartfelt messages to their beaus.
On the night, it's finally time for the Islanders to get mushy.
Curtis begins by getting cheesy, telling Maura: "Once upon a time, there was man on a journey. He had one goal in mind on his journey of crazy events. That goal, was to find a princess. This princess wasn't just any princess, she was the most beautiful princess in all the lands."
When it's Maura's turn, she stands up and instantly references Amy, though not by name.
"Curtis. Here before you I stand a very different woman, to the one who walked in the villa seven weeks ago," she begins.
"I had to spend my first few weeks watching somebody else fall in love with you, when all I really wanted was it to be me you were dancing with."
Ovie is up next and tells India: "Since you took me on that first breakfast date, the good energy hasn't stopped since. You've cheered me up and made me smile and you've even had Mr Cool feeling nervous.
"If there was one thing I could change, it would have been that you would have come sooner," he adds.
India stands up and replies: "Firstly, I want to thank you for making my time in the villa so amazing. I think we can all see that you were carved by angels. I couldn't have prepared myself for what comes with it.
"You are so kind, caring and considerate. You've proven to me that chivalry isn't dead."
Then it's Amber and Greg's turn, after they met just a couple of weeks before the final.
"I'm going to keep this short and sweet, just like when we first came to meet," Greg tells her as he announces he's written her a poem.
"Up in the Hideaway sheltered from the trouble, we instantly connected and formed our own little bubble," he recites.
Amber tells him in return: "It would be fair to say that I've had quite a journey in the villa this summer. There have been so many highs and then some lows, but then along came Greg.
"Thank you for helping to build me back up. You've always been so sweet and lovely to me and you've managed to bring out my soft side."
Finally, it's time for show favourites Tommy and Molly – the only official couple – to exchange their declarations.
Taking the cheese even further, Tommy stands up and immediately drops the cards he'd written his speech on.
"This isn't me. I want my heart to speak to you, not my mouth," he tells his girlfriend.
"From the first moment I walked up into the Hideaway, I instantly knew I had seen the most beautiful girl on this entire planet. You're absolutely everything I've ever wanted in a girl," he gushes.
Molly responds: "Tommy. For someone whose career depends on fighting other people, you're the gentlest person I've ever met. You're my best friend and the most incredible dad to our Elly-Belly. Thank you for showing me kindness and nothing but pure love every day."
But who has done enough to convince fans they're the real deal?
