Married At First Sight Australia: Cyrell throws wine over Jessika
Married At First Sight Australia is a quirky reality series which sees individuals meet for the first time at the altar. The sixth season, which first aired in 2019, has now made its way to the UK and there has been plenty of drama. The show announced a special reunion episode would air in 2021 and Express.co.uk has all you need to know.
When is the MAFSA reunion?
Married At First Sight Australia made its debut in 2015 and the show airs primarily on Nine Network.
The series is based on a Dutch show of the same name and it sees a panel of relationship experts match individuals based on different qualities.
The first time the individuals see each other is at the commitment ceremony and not all the couples get on initially.
Back in December 2020, it was announced two special reunion episodes would air later in 2021.
Fans are keen to find out when they will air, particularly when they will arrive in the UK.

The two reunion episodes were scheduled to air on January 31 and February 1, but sadly not in the UK.
The special reunion episodes aired on Nine Network, with the reunion dinner being shown first.
This was followed up by a reunion with the psychologists, which was scheduled to air at 7:30pm on February 1.
Both episodes featured fan-favourites from across all seven seasons and they had not seen each other since leaving the experiment.
Those participating included season six’s Ines Basic, Jessika Power, Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli.
In the second half of the reunion, the participants will join relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Shilling.
Here they will have a chance to explain what they have been up to since leaving the series.
Sadly there is no indication of when the special reunion episodes will air in the UK – but it may not be until 2022.
Season seven is still due to air in the UK, and this will most likely happen in early 2022.
With this in mind, the reunion episodes could air towards the end of next year if fans are lucky.

This being said, viewers can still look forward to the season six reunion episodes.
After each season, the participants reunite to discuss their time on the show and confront their partners.
The season six reunion was split into two parts – forming episodes 40 and 41 – and it originally aired back in April 2019.
Fans in the UK are on episode 21, so there is still a long way to go before the reunion episode will air.
With the episodes airing daily from Monday to Friday, the season six reunion should start on February 26.
Fans in Australia have warned those in the UK that there is plenty more drama to come with the all-stars reunion special.
One said on Twitter: “It is WILD reading the tweets from new UK viewers watching last season’s #MAFSAustralia episodes.
“Hold on tight team – it’s a crazy ride. Hopefully you get the reunion we’re now watching!”
The reunion currently airing in Australia is the first one to have featured participants from all of the previous seasons.
Others taking part include season five’s Dean Wells and Tracey Jewel, Troy Delmege and Ashley Irvin.
