Chloe Burrows has admitted she and the rest of the Love Island girls were "terrified" of Faye Winter's outbursts.

Faye, 26, broke Love Island records as she racked up more than 24,000 Ofcom complaints over her furious rants at Teddy Soares after the Mad Movies challenge.

And, fans were left confused as to why Chloe, 25, and the rest of the girls in the villa didn't step in to try and calm Faye down and stop the situation.

Bombshell Dale Mehmet was the only Islander to step in to try and calm the situation, but he faced the wrath of Faye.

After the show ended, Faye's rant is still at the forefront of Love Island fans's minds. And, as Faye addressed her explosive behaviour during the live reunion on Sunday 5 September, Laura asked Chloe why the girls didn't get involved.

Host Laura, 36, said: "Chloe, one thing I wanted to talk about, the girls, because Dale kind of came in and said something.

"Chloe, none of the girls stepped in just wondering why?"

Blonde beauty Chloe then confessed as she sat next to her boyfriend Toby Aromolaran: "We were terrified. No one wanted to get in the way of the wrath of Faye so we were hiding.

"We weren't getting involved, it was terrifying," Chloe added while laughing.

The camera then cut to Faye, who didn't look impressed by Chloe's revelation.

Fans soon picked up on the awkward moment on Twitter as one wrote: "did y’all see the way faye looked at chloe when she said all the girls were terrified? if she goes missing omg".

A second added: "Chloe saying that the girls were scared of Faye. Faye’s reaction [laughing face emoji] #loveisland".

As a third said: "Laura asked Chloe why none of the girls said anything to Faye when she was moving mad and screaming like a banshee/mad woman because Dale did, Chloe said the girls were actually scared and didn’t want to get in the way of Faye’s wrath and Faye did not look happy at her comments".

"Faye was ready to go off again when Chloe said the girls didn't call her out cos they were all scared of her. That girl hasn't learnt nothing, she's not sorry & she's going to yell at people like that again #LoveIsland," a fourth wrote.

While others praised Chloe for being honest with Laura. One said: "When Chloe said they were scared of Faye that's why they didn't get involved love her for saying how it is #LoveIsland #LoveIslandReunion".

A second added: "Chloe literally admitted the girls were all terrified of Faye hope this is a wake up call to her and most importantly Teddy #LoveIsland".

Following the reunion show, many of the Islanders went out on the town to celebrate the end of the series. But, Faye and 26 year old Teddy opted for an early night back at their hotel.

Faye shared a video of herself and Teddy tucked up on bed and told her followers: "So we are out of the reunion. Good night. We have decided not to go out with the rest of the cast tonight and get pizza again – I feel like all we eat is pizza."

She went on: "It's not that guys, it's because we've got Liberty's birthday tomorrow and because we're the oldest cast members, we're so old I'm so old, we are gonna save ourselves for tomorrow night because the hangovers are real."
