Love Island fans frustrated as they point out show’s ‘annoying’ habit

Two new bombshells arrived in the Love Island villa tonight in the shape of Luke Trotman and Luke Mabbott.

The hunky duos entrance left the girls with a huge smile on their faces and the boys shaking in their shoes.

The two Lukes got to see the female Islanders first and ladies were quick to find out more about their new housemates.

The addition of two Lukes marks the second pair of boys with the same name on the show.

The series already has Connor Durman and Connagh Howard with the contestant's differentiating between the two by calling the newer Islander "Connagh with a G".

Viewers of the ITV2 dating show have taken to social media to air their views on the show producer's "annoying habit".

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Why’s there so many people with the same names?"

Another added: "Why do they have 2 sets of boys this year with names that are alike/the same? It's annoying."

A third tweeted: "I am tired of all these same names."

A fourth viewer moaned: "Why do they keep getting people with the same name, its hard enough to remember these boring b******s' names anyways."

Fans were not the only ones confused our the two newbies with the Islanders coming up with a plan to differentiate between the Lukes.

Paige came up with "Luke who looks like Justin Bieber and Luke who looks like Luke."

In tomorrow night's episode will see both Luke go on a hot date.

Luke M will spend some alone with with Jess Gale and Luke T will get to know Siânnise.

Will any of the couples end up going all the way to the final?
