REAL Housewives of New York City is set to welcome fashion designer Leah McSweeney to the fold.
The Bravo TV series will run its 12th season soon and Leah, 37, gushed she was excited to join the "bad ass cast."
Married to the Mob CEO and founder Leah is bound to be a stylish addition to the cast, and fills the shoes of departing cast member Bethenny Frankel.
She is no stranger to starring on the small screen, after previously featuring on Love and Hip Hop: New York.
News of Leah's arrival onto the reality show set came at a recording for Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, after Luann de Lesseps let slip the detail.
Leah was spotted snapping selfies with fellow members of the cast before the official announcement was revealed, teasing her impending arrival on the housewife scene.
Leah's scenes are bound to be explosive ones as the star has previously shown she isn't afraid of pulling any punches.
The American, who is believed to be single, took comedian Michael Che to task after meeting him on a dating app.
She blasted him as "arrogant" and "D-List" after spotting him on app, and launched the tirade on her podcast Improper Etiquette.
Leah ranted: "Michael Che is so arrogant and so rude and disrespectful that I cannot even believe that someone … you’re like a D-list celebrity to me, whatever, that’s why I don’t even care that I’m saying his name.
"I’m not like blowing up Jay Z’s spot."
She continued: "Why are you on a dating app if you hate women?
"Literally, you’ve never met me and you’re texting me like I’m a stupid b***h … texting me and being mad rude. He kept just texting me, going, ‘I’m fat. Does that turn you on?’"
The mum of one has already been spotted shooting scenes with Tinsley Mortimer and posing for snaps with Luann.
A broadcast date for the new series has not yet been revealed.
