Inside Strictly star Kelvin Fletcher’s gorgeous home with brushed velvet sofas, massive telly and roll top bath – The Sun

KELVIN Fletcher has recently been announced as Jamie Laing's replacement on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

But as rehearsals for the show's first live episode gets underway, Kelvin has given fans a glimpse inside his stylish home in a series of Instagram posts.

The former Emmerdale star, 35, shares the £600,000 house with wife Liz Marsland, daughter Marnie and son Milo.

As well as a spacious front garden and drive, the house front features a number of double windows which will no doubt let in plenty of natural light.

Kelvin – who also took part in this year's The Real Full Monty- enjoys spending family time in the spacious living room, which features a grey walls and brushed velvet couch.

Glass ornaments and a mirrored coffee table make for the living room's centre piece, while Marnie and Milo's toys are scattered on the dark grey carpet.

In another snap, Kelvin can be seen wearing his motocross bike helmet while looking on to the huge flat screen television which is fitted to the wall.

Giving fans a more detailed look at the living room, Kelvin pans the camera around in a video to show a number of ornaments, including a candle, on the windowsill.

The grey colour scheme can also be seen in the actor's bathroom.

In one photo, Kelvin and his young daughter take a soak in the grand standalone bath.

The washroom is also complete with grey shiny tiles and silver arrangements, which sit on the window ledge above the bath.

Over the weekend, BBC One dance series confirmed that the ex Emmerdale star – who played Andy Sugden on the soap from 1996 to 2016- was joining the line-up, as previously reported by The Sun Online.

Taking to his Instagram Story after the news broke, Kelvin revealed it was a "dream come true" to star on the show.

He said: "Hey guys, just thought I'd say how just absolutely I'm overwhelmed by the response I've been receiving so far. I can't believe it, it's a dream come true.

"Those who know me, after a few beers, I love music and I love to dance, but that doesn't mean I'll be any good!

"Once you put choreography and a few dance moves, who knows?"

The actor is teamed up with professional dancer Oti Mabuse for the show, with The Greatest Dancer mentor tweeting after the news was announced: "When one door closes another opens… @kelvin_fletcher welcome to @bbcstrictly.

"Let’s do this, buddy – it’s going to be one fun journey."
