I’m A Celeb rich list – how winners have cashed in with McDonald's ads & lingerie as Frankie Bridge set to make millions
THE I'm A Celeb campmates have been slumming it in the castle, but they'll be living the life of luxury once they come out next week.
Being crowned King or Queen of the Jungle can open up some serious money-spinning opportunities – with past winners landing TV shows, books deals and adverts.
As well as their handsome appearance fee – which can be anywhere between £30,000 and £500,000 – the winner can also expect to cash in on collaborations as high street brands clamour to get them on board.
And Frankie Bridge – currently in the I'm A Celeb castle – is set to be the latest star set to rake in millions after being flooded with offers while on the show.
The I'm A Celebrity star – and favourite to win the show – has had several lucrative approaches made via her agents, including a well known high street brand, a fashion house and TV presenting offers.
Celebrity wealth expert Alex Clarke says: "This year the winner of I'm A Celeb can expect a whirlwind of prime-time exposure.
"A win-win for old hands and newcomers alike. TV shows, personal appearances, social media, own goods branding – all potential future money spinners."
As Emmerdale's Danny Miller and Naughty Boy battle it out against the likes of Richard Madeley, Arlene Phillips and Frankie Bridge, we look at how previous winners have cashed in on the crown.
Harry Redknapp – McDonald's ads and £500k appearance fee
Harry won the heart of I’m A Celeb fans with his affable nature and sweet references to wife Sandra.
The former West Ham and Spurs manager was never short of a bob or two but his spell as King of the Jungle gave his career a fresh boost – starting with his sign-up fee for the show, which was a reported £500,000.
His love of stodgy puddings landed him the infamous Jam Roly Poly advert for GoDaddy, and he was paid a six-figure sum to become the face of the McDonald’s ads, with son Jamie.
He and wife ‘Sarn’ also starred in FootAsylum’s 2020 Christmas ad.
Harry, 74, has fronted two series of Harry’s Heroes on ITV and various Sky1 shows with Jamie.
He has £10million in property company assets, and £3.6million in HJR Enterprises, his media firm – with earnings doubling from £1.6million in 2018, the year of his stint in the show.
Harry established Pie & Mash Media last summer, perhaps with an eye to making his own TV content, setting it up as a 'motion picture, video and television programme' business.
His property assets are held on the books of two firms – Pierfront Faversham and Pierfront Developments.
He lives in a £3.5million mansion in the exclusive Sandbanks, Dorset.
Net worth: £14.5million
