Jenelle Evans and David Eason are going to court this week in hopes to regain custody of their children. How is Evans reacting to the situation? A source reportedly revealed how she is feeling at this time. Here is everything you need to know.
David Eason reportedly admitted to killing Jenelle Evans’ dog
The whole thing started with Evans publicly mourning the death of her French bulldog on Instagram. Eason reportedly later made a video on Instagram saying the dog snapped at their daughter, Ensley.
“I dont [sic] give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” he said according to Us Weekly. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont [sic] put up with that sh*t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes [sic] mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”
It didn’t take long for there to be a backlash. MTV announced it will no longer film Evans for Teen Mom 2. Their kids were then removed from their home.
Their three kids were removed from their home
Evans’ son, Kaiser with her ex, Nathan Griffith was taken out of her care, according to Entertainment Tonight. “During this difficult time, I’m focused on getting Kaiser back and cooperating with my legal team on the next steps to getting my children back,” her rep said at the time.
Evans and Eason’s daughter, Ensley and her stepdaughter, Maryssa were removed from their care later. A case was opened after someone reportedly called the Columbus County Department of Social Services who believed they could develop PTSD from allegedly witnessing the death of their dog, according to The Blast.
Evans is reportedly hoping to get her kids back in time for the summer
The reality star and Eason have been in and out of court to fight to get their kids back. A source said the case is “being adjourned until Friday,” according to E! News.
The source talked about what it was like for them to go into court on Wednesday. “They left court today with everything status quo from where they started today. She is hoping to get her kids back in time for the summer. Her lawyers are being very strict about allowing her to talk about anything,” the source said.
The source claimed the married couple wants to “move forward with whatever the court decides for Kaiser and Ensley.” Also, Evans “is very much hoping she will be able to get them back.” The case reportedly “has been extremely draining on [Jenelle]” and the insider added “This was never expected. She is exhausted.”
It’s unknown when things will be officially decided in terms of the custody case. The couple will be back in court on Friday.
