Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway left red-faced at busty throwback snap

Good Morning Britain returned to our screens this morning with Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway on presenting duty.

News reader Charlotte Hawkins opened the show solo this morning to present the show's new 30 minute news bulletin before handing over to Ben and Kate.

Charlotte, 44, revealed to her co-stars and ITV viewers it was her 20th anniversary on television today.

The blonde beauty explained: "Today marks my 20th anniversary on televison to the very day. The first day I walked into the ITV Meridian in 2000.

As Charlotte chatted about her televison debut, a throwback snap appeared on screen featuring Charlotte's news broadcast as well as her a picture of her first backstage pass.

Charlotte told her televison pals: "It's important to look back."

Kate and Ben were gobsmacked at Charlotte's look she sported in 2000 featuring a short pixie crop.

To mark the occasion, Good Morning Britain viewers were treated to throwback snaps of Ben and Kate from two decades ago.

Host Ben, 45, looked fairy the same in his picture from back in his heyday, but Kate was left red-faced at her throwback picture.

Wearing a tight-fitted nude dress, Kate sported a brunette bob hairstyle while hosting GMTV back in the noughties.

A gobsmacked Kate asked: "What am I doing? There's Charlotte talking about her 20 years service and me looking odd."

Referring the busty picture, Ben asked: "Are we back in the jungle?" referring to Kate's time in the I'm A Celebrity jungle last year.
