Emmerdale's Laura Norton announces she's expecting second baby with Mark Jordon

Emmerdale stars Laura Norton and Mark Jordon have announced they’re expecting their second child together.

Laura, who plays Kerry Wyatt in the ITV soap, confirmed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a sweet pic of the two captioned: ‘Round 2…’ alongside a bump emoji.

The announcement comes after the arrival of their first child together as a couple, a baby boy on January 29, 2021.

Since then, the pair have both been sharing sweet snaps of little Jesse on social media.

Over on Mark’s Instagram, he posted a sweet tribute to Laura, labelling her ‘an amazing mum.’

Along with a picture of Laura showing off her bump, he wrote: ‘Jesse Poppy and Joe get to share our next adventure.

‘Thank you @laura_norts for the most special gift you’ve brought me. Thank you for being an amazing mum.

‘Our next special little person is very lucky to have your care love and brilliant view of life.

‘Let the adventures begin again. You’re working so hard in the Dales and give so much to us all. All five of us are blessed to have you in our world. Thank you xxxxx’

Mark, who has two children from a previous relationship, played Daz Spencer on the ITV soap between 2014 and 2019.

Their fellow Emmerdale stars jumped to the comments to congratulate the happy couple.

Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, wrote: ‘Yipeeeeeeeee. At last we can say something. So much love to you both, we are elated for you both,’ while Katie Sudgen actress Sammy Winward penned: ‘The best humans.’

Laura and Mark first met in 2014 when Mark joined the cast of Emmerdale, and they began dating shortly after.

They became engaged in June 2018, after Mark popped the question while the pair were on holiday in Spain.
