Cathy Hope is starting to feel incredibly guilty about trolling April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) in Emmerdale.

April has been receiving nasty messages online from a mystery social media troll, but viewers know that Cathy is responsible.

Heath has also become aware of what Cathy has been up to, and in this clip from next Wednesday’s (September 15) episode of the ITV soap, he tells his sister to ‘keep him out it’ when the truth inevitably comes out.

April doesn’t go to school in the wake of her ordeal, and Heath covers when questioned by Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) about her absence, claiming that she probably just got the earlier bus.

But Rhona is seemingly starting to pick up on the fact that there’s more going on than meets the eye, when April – evidently not in a good mood – storms off, ignoring her request for help.

Will Rhona work out the truth?

She will, in a matter of speaking, as Cathy eventually comes clean to April, admitting that she is the online troll.

April then relays this discovery to Rhona, who sets out to confront Cathy, and an altercation ensues on Main Street.

Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) gets involved, one thing leads to another, and she ends up getting injured!

Will there be repercussions?

Emmerdale airs these scenes Wednesday September 15 at 7pm on ITV.
