Caitlyn Jenner knocked it out of the park when she told the world — then Bruce Jenner — about her desire to have sex-reassignment surgery.
No matter where you look in time, there was something explosive going on within the family. But now that some of the dust has settled surrounding Caitlyn and the crew has she been able to pick up where she left off?
Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner don’t really get along
Kris Jenner and Caitlyn were only dating for five months before they decided to take the plunge. That was in the 90s. The two didn’t split until 2015, 23 years after their fateful union. While their relationship may have ended in divorce, Kris and Caitlyn were a power couple. Kris became Caitlyn’s manager and set her up with gigs all over the country.
In 2007 they switched gears and took over reality TV with Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Being a part of the gossip-fueled show was a move that would change the entire family’s lives forever. After eight years of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the couple announced that they would be getting a divorce. That very same year Caitlyn dropped a bomb on the world — she was transgender.
To say the tabloids lit up like a Christmas tree is an understatement. Caitlyn spent the years after the divorce paving a path for herself. While Kris and the family had always been supportive, there was irreparable damage done both during and after the divorce. Most notably aligned with Caitlyn’s memoir, Secrets of My Life.
While the exes do try to keep things calm for the sake of their children, they are no longer a part of each other’s lives. More than one of the Kardashian-Jenner crew has stated that the once inseparable duo no longer speaks to each other.

Kris and Caitlyn’s relationship may be irreparable, but what about her relationship with her baby girl, Kylie? With her daughter recently being “crowned” the youngest self-made billionaire at just 21-years-old, Caitlyn is definitely having a proud parent moment. But has she had the opportunity to really celebrate with her daughter?
As it turns out, Kris wasn’t the only one whose relationship suffered in the aftermath of the divorce. As with all divorces, the split created an environment where the children came to favor one over the other. Then the memoir dropped in 2017, causing an even greater rift and a general distaste among the clan. With her and her children being on their own journeys, they’ve also naturally grown apart.
But, Caitlyn still does have a pretty good relationship with both Kylie and Kendall, at the very least. Caitlyn even made an appearance at Kylie’s launch party for her cosmetic line and has posted congratulatory post on her social media. While things may not be perfect, it’s easy to see that the duo has managed to move past the drama and reach a pretty comfy spot in their relationship.
Does Caitlyn get to spend time with Stormi?
Considering Kylie and Caitlyn aren’t on bad terms, one would hope that she would get an opportunity to bond with her beautiful granddaughter. The doting grandma did make an appearance at Stormi’s birthday party earlier this year. According to Caitlyn, it was an over-the-top event. They took over an entire lot at Universal Studios and turned it into Stormi’s World!
From the video, it’s clear that Caitlyn had other plans for the day but made sure to make an appearance to see her granddaughter.
