Coronation Street spoilers: Adam Barlow trolled online – but is it Lydia Chambers?

THE intimidation campaign continues for Adam Barlow on Coronation Street.

The solicitor is trolled online in upcoming scenes of the ITV soap.

Adam's (played by Sam Robertson) mystery enemy is still very much active.

In recent trips to Weatherfield, Adam has seen his car vandalised and was even held at gunpoint in his office alongside Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo).

His wife Sarah (Tina O'Brien) was also targeted.

The stalker is now turning to the Worldwide Web to terrorise Adam.

His professional credibility could even be at stake.

In scenes due to air next week on ITV, Imran is worried and shows Adam a series of online reviews.

Adam is horrified when he sees that none of them are particularly positive as the reviews are slating him as a solicitor.

Coronation Street viewers will automatically suggest that Lydia Chambers (Rebecca Ryan) is the only one who could possibly be responsible for such trolling.

It was recently revealed that Adam is being harassed by his former university girlfriend.

Lydia has been working on driving a wedge between him and Sarah and is slowly but surely stepping up her plan.

Dancing on Ice fans convinced Sally Dynevor will do death-defying headbanger

Spoilers have confirmed she will admit to having an affair with Adam to Sarah after dropping several brief hints to her during their time as colleagues in the Underworld factory.

She first tried her luck at love upon her arrival with Daniel Osbourne – Adam's uncle, played by Rob Mallard – but was discarded by the teacher in favour of Daisy Midgeley.

This has prompted viewers to theorise an upcoming dark twist for the Rovers barmaid.

But, for now, Lydia appears focused on ruining Adam and Sarah's marriage.

However, another suspect is possibly trying to ruin Adam's profession and he is none other than Jeremy Bremner.

The latter was the first to be on Adam's mind as the culprit when the intimidation campaign begun.

Yet when he was confronted by the solicitor, Jeremy only admitted to having keyed his car and left him alone soon after.

Could he have decided to cause Adam further turmoil?

Or does Lydia still have unfinished business with Adam, after getting away with terrorising him a first time?

All that and more on Coronation Street.
