Coronation Street fans may see trouble for Michael Bailey (played by Ryan Russell) in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap. The aspiring entrepreneur is in a relationship with Grace Vickers (Kate Spencer) and together they have a baby girl named Glory. However, it looks as though their relationship is on the rocks and could soon take a turn. According to official soap spoilers, Michael is set to make a confession that could change everything. Will Grace stick around? Or will she want to leave the cobbles and her relationship with Michael behind?

Michael and Grace welcomed their first child together earlier this year, as baby Glory was born in March.

Glory was born prematurely and as a result, was placed on a ventilator but soon recovered.

The couple brought their newborn home to Number 3, but they may not be the happy family they appear to be.

Michael has recently been struggling in his relationship with Grace and is set to confess his true feelings.

In upcoming scenes on the soap, James Bailey (Nathan Graham) is in a foul mood awaiting news of his appealed police complaint.

When James snaps at her, Grace tells Michael they need to start looking for a place of their own.

Grace’s idea puts pressure on Michael, who has been secretly regretting his decision to get back with his other half.

Discussing the matter with his Uncle Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), Michael admits he’s only with Grace so that Glory can have parents who are together.

Trying to make his nephew see sense, Ronnie advises that staying together may not be the smartest option.

Regular Coronation Street viewers will know that Michael and Grace’s relationship has been one filled with challenges.

Michael previously did a runner back in 2018 when Grace told him she was pregnant.

After sadly suffering a miscarriage, Grace walked back into Michael’s life in late 2019 and had begun working as a nanny when she bumped into him again.

When the pair crossed paths, Michael assumed the child Grace was looking after was his daughter.

Grace agreed to talk to Michael but did not correct him about the little girl’s identity.

However, the truth was soon revealed when Michael attempted to kidnap the girl when Grace suggested she was taking her to Spain.

After being arrested for child abduction, Michael was informed that he was not actually the father and Grace had been manipulating him.

Michael turned Grace into the police, but soon regretted his decision when she told him from prison that she was pregnant and the baby is his.

A paternity test proved that this time around he was in fact the father and as a result, he asked Grace to move in with him and his family.

It’s clear that Grace’s lies and manipulation in the past are still playing on Michael’s mind and he doesn’t really care for her.

When he reveals he was only staying with her for the sake of baby Glory, how will Grace react?

The new mother will likely be devastated by the news and may want to see the back of Michael as a result.

Could she end up leaving Coronation Street with baby Glory when Michael confesses his true feelings?

Given how tumultuous their romance has been so far, it’s not unlikely Grace could react out of anger and leave Michael on his own.

Coronation Street continues Monday at 7:30pm on ITV.
