COLEEN Nolan has revealed she is looking forward to having sex again as she shares her new relationship.
The Loose Women star, 56, told how she has met a "nice guy" online, and with him, found a renewed interest in intimacy.
She said in her new Mirror agony aunt column: "Personally, I’m actually quite looking forward to having sex again after eating sandwiches for the past five years.
"I’ve been seeing a nice guy I met online, so hopefully I won’t have to rely on butties for much longer."
She explained that meeting a man online was best for her as she doesn't drink so would struggle to meet a new man in a bar.
Coleen laughed on the ITV show at the statistic that claimed 15% of women in the UK would rather eat a sandwich than have sex.
She had previously suggested food can be better than sex, once speaking on Loose Women about how chocolate is her preferred choice.
She said: "I’ve always said on Loose Women that I prefer chocolate to sex because it lasts longer, tastes better and I don’t have to look nice while I’m eating it."
This new man seems to have changed her mind however, since her lockdown love failed.
The TV personality shared how her children told her off for staying out too late with her new love interest, as she spent all day with him and didn't come home until 2am.
Coleen said: "The next day, my kids told me they’d have to set a curfew because I can’t be rolling in at that time in the morning.
"They’re actually thrilled for me, though. He’s a grown up, affectionate and very funny – my ribs hurt from laughing – and a sense of humour is a must for me in a partner.”
Coleen has three children; two sons with Shane Richie and a daughter with Ray Fensome.
Coleen was previously married to Shane Richie in 1990, divorcing nine years later and then Ray Fensome in 2007, though they divorced in 2018.
Coleen met Kevin, a property developer on Flirty Dancing, a Channel 4 matchmaking show where each partner learns a dance then performs it together the first time they meet.
She met a man online during lockdown, as she shared her woes of not being able to meet physically when they matched in September, but that ended.
Nolan wrote: "I've got to admit, I'm not one for endless FaceTime calls – I’m not ready for him to see me in my trackie bottoms just yet and, believe it or not, I feel quite self-conscious on video calls.”
She shared that she had daily phone calls with the man who was eight years younger than her, which kept them connected during the pandemic, but it was not meant to be.
The man keeping her sex life interesting seems to be a man she met recently and she has revealed little on TV as her co-stars tease her.
