Tipping Point host Ben Shephard was left stunned today after contestant Caroline managed to leapfrog her rival Barry at the last minute to win a place in the final.
The blonde babe was trailing Barry all the way through the show – with her co-star pulling ahead thanks to his larger personal prize pot.
However, when it came to her final question, Caroline managed to pull things back – leaving Ben stunned.
Thanks to bagging £200 and the double counter on her final drop, the starlet pocketed £400, meaning she was able to go from £1250 to £1650.
Meanwhile, Barry had only managed to win £1500.
Despite clearly being disappointed, Barry took the loss with grace.
Turning to Caroline, he wished her luck before being given his marching orders by Ben.
Shocked at what had just happened, Good Morning Britain regular Ben said: "What a final twist we have.
"Caroline you are today's winner."
Taking to Twitter, one verier wrote: "WOW did Barry not like that! #tippingpoint."
Another added: "Wow. Barry deserves to win. #tippingpoint."
A third continued: "Gutted for Barry. Did not see that coming. #TippingPoint."
After taking on the machine in the final round, Caroline managed to pull in just over £3000.
She was then left with the decision of whether to stick or gamble for the full £10,000 jackpot prize.
Turning to the blonde hopeful, Ben said: "As things stand you have £3050… you can walk away with it now or you can trade it.
"If you decided to take the trade you will give all the money to me and then if you don't get the jackpot you will go home with nothing."
Looking pensive, Carline replied: "I always said if I had less than £3,000 I would go for the trade.
"I have two mystery counters, I am going to take the trade please, Ben."
Firing up drop zone two with her first token, with a bit of luck Caroline managed to get the jackpot counter over the line.
The win meant that Caroline left with the show a hefty £10,000 prize.
Tipping Point continues on ITV at weekdays at 4pm.
