Adele fans in tears as British Summer Time tickets sell out in SECONDS – despite high prices

ADELE fans have been left devastated after not managing to bag any tickets for the star's British Summertime gigs.

Droves dutifully logged on to ticketing sites when the performances, in London's Hyde Park, went on sale at 10am today.

However, many found themselves stuck in huge queues or said they found there were no tickets left just seconds after the sale opened.

Many posted crying emojis – and begged the star to lay on more dates with thousands still desperate for tickets.

One fan tweeted: "Spent the last 3 consecutive days trying to get Adele tickets and they are all sold out 😭."

Another said: "Got to the front of the queue for Adele tickets at 10:05 to find out they had already sold out, gutted 😟."

A third wrote: "How could there not be any tickets left by 10.01 when I got thru the queue!"

Another asked: "How could I have 137 people infront of me in the queue for Adele tickets at 10.00 and they were still sold out at 10.01?!?!"

Others complained that the tickets were already appearing on eBay at inflated prices.

One tweeted: "So p***ed off with trying to buy @Adele tickets. Sold out in like 2 minutes and within 15 mins, tickets are on eBay for 3x the price. Why are people d***heads!?!?"

The tickets disappeared despite going for around £350 a go for general admission and much for better seats at the event.

Sites including Ticketmaster put up 'sold out' notices moments after the sale.

The US-based events giant wrote: "Tickets sold out. Ticketmaster's allocation for Adele's two dates at American Express presents BST Hyde Park has now sold out."
