A Place in the Sun host savages picky couple in awkward moment

A PLACE in the Sun's Ben Hillman savaged a picky couple on the show after they abruptly shut him down during a viewing.

Presenter Ben was given the task of finding couple Sue and Ali their dream home on Wednesday’s episode of the Channel 4 property show.

Viewers were whisked away to sunny Spain as Ben looked to find the perfect property for the pair so that they could relocate from Weston-super-Mare.

Armed with a maximum budget of £70,000, Ben knew he had a challenge on his hands, but still managed to find some properties that ticked almost all of their boxes.

However, Ben didn't get off to the best of starts after he failed to meet the couple's criteria, with Sue unimpressed by the fact they had neighbours.

Sue explained: "I am not sure about the fact we have two sets of neighbours."

When asked whether it was a problem, the house hunter promptly stopped him in his tracks by remarking: "Could be."

Ruling out the first property, Ben moved on to the second holiday home – but there was more misery ahead.

Despite the fact the property wasn't modern, Sue and Ali seemed to like it more than the first holiday home.

The third holiday home was located further inland and came with more than four acres of land.

The fourth property failed to impress Sue, as she told Ben: "I just don't like it."

The frustrated expert went on to tell the couple: "You're hard work, what have I got to do?"

After shutting down the fourth holiday home, Ben hoped the fifth and final property would win the duo over.

The fifth holiday home through a spanner in the works as Sue and Ali seemed to like it.

However, when it came to making a decision, the pair decided to put in an offer for the property.
