The One Show’s Alex Jones shares sweet moment with baby girl in adorable snap

Alex Jones is just days away from celebrating the festive season with her youngest child Annie for the first time – and it seems she's excited.

The One Show host Alex took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of herself and her youngest daughter, with husband Charlie Thomson, as she gave fans a sneak peek into her home.

Alex, 44, gave birth to Annie in August as she took a break from the BBC show while on maternity leave – but fans have loved the occasional snaps she shares with her many loving viewers.

A recent photo saw Alex carrying her daughter in her arms as she lit the fire ready to get warm and cosy.

Alex had her short hair sitting by her shoulders while she was giving her daughter a big kiss on the cheek and pulled the camera up to take a snap.

In the photo, viewers could see a green and pine cone garland laid across the top of the fire pit while getting a subtle look into her Christmas tree in the mirror.

It's not the only time Alex has shown her fans her Christmas decor, with the host sharing a snap on her profile on December 8 of the tree all up and decorated.

Alex often posts snaps of her life on Instagram, but she keeps her children's faces very much away from the spotlight as she hides them in all photos.

She's gearing up to celebrate her first Christmas with three children after welcoming her daughter Annie earlier this year.

Alex announced her daughter's safe arrival three days after she was born as she said the family were all "besotted" by her.

The presenter is currently on maternity leave but she has showed up on screen for a handful of episodes since she's been away.

She appeared on the final episode of the year last week to wrap up a great year for the fan-favourite BBC show.

Although fans are still waiting for Alex's permanent return, they've been happy seeing her make the most of her time with her youngest daughter.
