Oscar-nominated actress Sally Kellerman who starred in war drama MASH as Hot Lips has died.
The 84-year-old died in the early hours of Thursday morning at an assisted care facility in Los Angeles, according to her son Jack Krane.
The actress was diagnosed with dementia around 2017 and reportedly her battle in the last couple of years wasn't good, reports TMZ.
Her son Jack, saw the famous Oscar nominee star for the final time on Wednesday night.
It was made clear to him at the time that his mother wasn't well and he made his final goodbyes.
The star famously appeared in Robert Altman's 1970's M*A*S*H movie as well as the 1986 comedy Back to School, opposite Rodney Dangerfield.
Sally also appeared in several shows on the small screen including The Outer Limits, 12 O’Clock High, That Girl and Mannix.
The actress also did voice over work and was involved in many animated films.
