BTS, Halsey, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift have all walked away with two awards apiece at tonight’s MTV EMAs.
Halsey, who had four looks prepared for tonight’s festivities in Spain, took home Best New Pop Act and Best Look at the ceremony.
Billie Eilish managed to nab best song for Bad Guy, followed up by Best New Artist – which is not too shabby after a year of smashing it in the charts.
Taylor, who has been reigning supreme since her return and new album earlier this year, won Best Video for ME, as well as best US act.
BTS beat Taylor and Ariana Grande for Best Live Act, and the ARMY got a nod as well for being awarded the Biggest Fans – proving they’re a true force to be reckoned with.
While the announcements were a pretty even split, there were some shocks from the evening with Ariana and Lil Nas X, who both led the nominations with seven each, walking away empty handed.
Other notable wins included Shawn Mendes missing out on a Best Song gong with Camilla Cabello, but still reigning supreme after the Best Artist win.
Green Day won Best Rock Act, while Little Mix represented the Uk and took home the best UK act.
Mabel rocked the stage with a performance to Don’t Call Me Up, being carried around by her dancers and performing a routine on an interactive stage.
Dua Lipa traded in her black ballgown for a thong leotard on stage for a bright and bubbly performance flanked by dancers in bright yellow, before spending time with boyfriend Anwar Hadid.
