Love Island’s Alexandra Cane gives her tips on how to keep fit at Christmas

Love Island Island star Alexandra Cane is on a mission to get the nation fit in time for Christmas.

The fitness guru, 29, wants to inspire people to start toning up now instead of waiting until the new year.

She said: “People often say they’ll start the gym in January. But what are you waiting for? People who want to get started should go for it.

“There is no time like the present. If it’s something you’re thinking about, there is no better time.

“My advice would be to figure out why you want to get in shape, find exercise you absolutely love, make it social, set yourself challenges and have some variety so you don’t get bored.”

There are less than two weeks until Christmas Day, but Alexandra reckons that’s enough time to make a difference.

She added: “This year has been tough for everyone, so don’t be too harsh on yourself. You could even just go for a nice walk or have a dance in your living room. There are so many ways to get started.

“There is a lot on YouTube that is really great like dance classes or pilates. It is important to find something you love.”
