During his surprise appearance, the rapper and Yeezy designer entertains the crowds with a few of his classic tracks, including ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ and ‘Hurricane’.
AceShowbiz –Kanye West has delighted fans with his surprise appearance at Rolling Loud California. Just days after headlining “Free Larry Hoover” with Drake, the “Donda” artist showed up during Future‘s festival-closing set on Sunday night, December 12.
The Yeezy designer then entertained the crowds with a few of his classic tracks. They included “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1”, “Hurricane” and “Praise God” among others.
Not stopping there, the estranged husband of Kim Kardashian also delivered a freestyle over Future’s 2015 hit “F**k Up Some Commas”. While the 38-year-old emcee performed “Way 2 Sexy”, the father of four remained onstage to hype up the crowd.
Ye’s surprise appearance came just a few days after he and Drake shared a stage for the first time since ending their feud. “Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it is time to put it to rest,” Ye said ahead of the show, which took place on Thursday, December 9.
The two rap stars took the stage of the L.A. Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California together for the “Free Larry Hoover” benefit concert. The gig was aimed at raising money to help Larry, who’s serving six life sentences for gang activity, get released from jail.
Sharing pictures from the event was Drake on his Instagram page. On Friday, the Canadian native let out an image that saw the two entering the smokey stage from the top of the stairs. He also uploaded other pictures that displayed the pair smiling widely as they walked next to each other.
In the caption of the post, Drake cited a few bars from Ye’s “I Wonder” off “Graduation”. “And that’s why I’m…seven o clock that’s prime time…heaven’ll watch god calling from the hotlines…why he keep giving me hot lines? I’m a star how could I not shine? How many ladies in the house? How many ladies in the house without a spouse???” he penned.
