Heartbroken Chloe Ferry shares moving tribute to dad as she goes to his funeral

Chloe Ferry has posted a sweet tribute to her Instagram as she headed to her dad's funeral on Thursday.

The former Geordie Shore star described it as the 'hardest day of my life' as she was on the way to the ceremony after announcing his death just before Christmas.

The 26 year old announced that her dad died just a week before Christmas after a battle with cancer.

She posted a cute photo of her with her dad when she was a child.

Alongside the picture she said: " RIP dad you was taken from us too soon you’ll always be in my heart miss and love you always."

She also posted a story of when she found a single feather on the stairs, believing it could be a sign of a loved one and then walking to her dad's funeral as it was snowing.

Chloe wrote: "Just found this feather on the stairs. Today is my dads funeral it's going to be the hardest day of my life but it helps me to know you're looking over me."

At the time of her dad's death she took to her Instagram page to tell her followers the sad news by posting on her story.

She said: "I've struggled to write this and I still can't accept what I'm about to say!

"I'm a very open person and normally happy to share all details of my life, however this is a time where I really need to have some privacy.

"I sadly lost my dad after his battle with cancer and it still doesn't feel real! I am going to take a break from social media and work commitments. As a family we are all dealing with this and trying to come to terms with it…

"I'd really appreciate it if I was given some time to deal with it in my own way!"

On Christmas day Chloe shared a touching video of a family member opened a framed photo of her dad.

Alongside the video, Chloe wrote: "RIP to my beautiful dad. You asked one wish at Christmas for all of us to be happy and together and here we all are we miss you everyday and we wish you were here."
