This Morning legend Fern Britton has spoken out for the first time since splitting from husband Phil Vickery.
The TV favourite took to Twitter to thank fans for their support.
Ferne wrote: "Hello. Thank you so much for all your kind messages.
"They are so appreciated. More than you know.
"The kindness of strangers is overwhelming. Xx."
Phil and Fern had been together for over twenty years before announcing their shock split last month.

Taking to social media on January 29, Fern said: "After more than 20 happy years together, Phil and I have decided to go our separate ways.
"We will always share a great friendship and our lovely children.
"We would appreciate it if our privacy is respected at this time.
"Thank you for your continued kindness and support."[sic]

The couple married in 2000 and have one child, Winnie,18, together.
While fans were shocked by the break-up, an insider recently told Mirror Online how the timing of their break up does "not come as a surprise".
The source said: "Fern and Phil went through periods when they weren’t even speaking to one another.
"There were some really rough patches and it looked like deep cracks had developed. Things were fraught.
