The ‘Hello’ hitmaker’s success denies The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s ‘Stay’, which stays at No.2 for the past three weeks, from returning to number one in North America.
AceShowbiz –Adele has scored a third week on top of the Billboard Hot 100 with “Easy on Me”. The track keeps The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber‘s “Stay” from returning to number one in North America – the song has been stuck at two for the past three weeks.
Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow‘s “Industry Baby” is also unmoved at three on the new countdown, while Ed Sheeran‘s “Bad Habits” rises a spot to four and Walker Hayes‘ “Fancy That” rounds out the top five.
Also hitting the top 10 this week is Glass Animals‘ “Heat Waves”, becoming the track to spend the most weeks in the Hot 100 before making the top 10 – 42 weeks. The song rises from 13 to 10.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran’s new release, “=”, debuts at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Adele’s chart success came as she played her first concert since 2017 on Saturday, November 6. Filmed for an ITV special titled “An Audience with Adele”, her London show saw many stars in attendance. Beyonce Knowles, Idris Elba, Dua Lipa, Emma Watson, Naomi Campbell, Boy George, David Tennant, Bryan Cranston and Samuel L. Jackson were among those in the audience.
The “Hello” hitmaker has also thrown a concert in Los Angeles, California. In late October, she taped the intimate event hosted by Oprah Winfrey for an upcoming CBS special called “Adele One Night Only”. It will be aired on Sunday, November 14, at 8:30-10:30 P.M. ET/8:00-10:00 P.M. PT. It will also be made available on-demand on Paramount+.
