Frozen 2 is close to being released at home with fans desperate to get their hands on a copy. The film sees Elsa and Anna (voiced by Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell) continue in their journey alongside their band of merry men. But until the film comes out on DVD, is it available to stream?
Can I watch Frozen 2 online?
Frozen 2 was recently in cinemas and did not have any distributor deals which would make it able to download at this time, so the answer is no.
Any website claiming to have the film for streaming or download is illegal.
The Digital Economy Act 2017 means people could now face ten-year prison sentences for illegally streaming copyrighted content.

To be sure you’re not watching copyrighted material, you should go direct to companies such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, according to FACT (Federation Against Copyright Theft).
Frozen fans sadly can not watch the new instalment via any streaming platform or download.
What is the age rating for Frozen 2?
Frozen 2 has been given a U certificate by the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) and is said to contain “mild threat, very mild violence, rude humour.”
The BBFC also gives information on what the U classification means, meaning parents can work out whether their children may find some things upsetting.
The BBFC states: “A U film should be suitable for audiences aged four years and over, although it is impossible to predict what might upset any particular child.
“U films should be set within a positive framework and should offer reassuring counterbalances to any violence, threat or horror.”
Frozen 2 has not been cleared as particularly suitable for pre-school children, so this may be worth taking into consideration as well.

In the BBFC guidelines, certain scenes are outlined as being of potential upset to children, so parents who are concerned for their children should check on the BBFC website for further details.
However, those who are particularly worried are advised to consider watching the film before their children, to be prepared for any moment which might upset them.
