Whitney Port emotionally reveals she’s expecting second baby but that it is ‘touch and go’

Whitney Port has revealed she is pregnant with her second child in an emotional video.

She shared the news in the latest instalment of her YouTube series, Reacting to The Hills, alongside husband Tim Rosenman.

However, she revealed that the pregnancy is “touch and go” after being warned by her doctor that it will “likely be an unhealthy pregnancy” after suffering two previous miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy.

Despite being clearly emotional during filming, the couple were keen to share with their audience, and be open about the whole experience.

“It’s such a huge part of our lives right now and it affects everything, like physically and mentally and everything that we do,” Whitney said.

“It just felt like an opportunity to just share it because I couldn’t just sit here and go on with my life and not share it.”

The MTV star, now 36, said she had been feeling “frazzled and overwhelmed” since finding out the news.

“I definitely feel just scared for myself and my confidence and my self-worth and what this means for that, and also for not being able to give this family what I think would be the best for it,” she said.

“The emotions are obviously very complicated.”

“We wanted to keep you posted just because, I think for both of us, we feel like keeping this a secret feels weird and wrong. Sharing this with you just feels right.”

However, in the video’s description, Tim had a positive update for fans, revealing they had since “heard the heartbeat and saw an embryo, to everyone’s surprise.”

The couple married in 2015 and share a four-year-old son, Sonny.

They have previously documented their miscarriage experience on YouTube. Whitney has also shared how the trauma has actually strengthened their marriage.

“If anything, it brought us closer together,” she said last year in an episode of the podcast, Infertile AF.

“How he cared for me and how there he was, emotionally, for me was really amazing.”

Whitney has previously been strikingly honest on social media about her fertility issues.

She shared how she felt "shock to sadness to relief, which then led to guilt for feeling that relief” when talking of her first miscarriage.

And in January this year, she suffered a second. She shared the news on Instagram, explaining it felt completely different.

She wrote: “Last time, I don’t think I was ready to have another child, and I had different feelings about the miscarriage.”

“This time, I really connected. I was actually excited and enjoying the pregnancy. I envisioned it all.”
