There are few models in recent years who have made quite the splash that Bella Hadid has. In the short time since her September 2014 debut runway show for Desigual, Hadid has become a household name (via Footwear News). In between her many round-the-globe modeling gigs, she’s also appeared as a brand ambassador with the likes of DKNY, Moschino, Bulgari accessories, TAG Heuer, and more (via Elle).
As one of the world’s highest-paid models, it begs the question: How much is Bella Hadid actually worth? As it turns out, Hadid has reportedly garnered a sizable chunk of change in her relatively short career.
Hadid first signed with modeling agency IMG in 2014 at 17, following in sister Gigi’s footsteps (via Fashionista). The Hadids have been called “the first family of fashion” and with good reason: Yolanda, the family matriarch, first began working as a model at the age of 16 (via Insider). Although fans today are more likely to know her from her work as a cast member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Bella Hadid is the most coveted celebrity endorser
In 2017, Forbes named Hadid the ninth-highest paid model, saying “the newcomer had a busy year posing for more than a dozen brands including Dior makeup, nike, and Nars cosmetics” (via). Hadid’s star — and her ranking on the Forbes list — has only risen since then.
Hadid has become known as “brands’ most coveted celebrity endorser” (via The Drum), notably beating out her friend Kendall Jenner for the title. And that’s not the only record title she holds: In 2017 she became the first model to appear on Vogue’s covers five times in one month. Hadid is also a runway favorite, reportedly earning $11,000 per hour during Australia’s Fashion Week in 2016 (via Telegraph).
Despite sharing a profession, the Hadid sisters see no reason for competition. As Bella Hadid told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia in 2017, “Most of the time our markets are completely different,” adding, “And if we get booked on a job and she gets it or I get it, we’re both happy for each other” (via Elle).
The sisters are setting an excellent example for the next models to come up in the family, and Bella’s reported net worth of $25 million will no doubt encourage future generations to try their hand at walking the runway (via Celebrity Net Worth).
