Rebel Wilson shows off five stone weight loss in red swimsuit snap from getaway

Rebel Wilson looked incredible as she showcased her recent five stone weight loss in a swimsuit picture posted on her Instagram page – telling her followers that it was "never too late to improve yourself".

The Pitch Perfect star looked every inch the blonde bombshell as she wowed in the plunging red one-piece while clinging on to a submerged tree branch on a private island.

Rebel's wet blonde tresses were tossed to one side, and she shielded herself from the scorching rays with a pair of shades.

In her caption, the star was sure to let everyone know that they had the power to change their lifestyle healthily and happily.


"It's never too late to improve yourself – to improve your health, your heart, your happiness, your harmony," she wrote.

"For everyone out there just trying to be a lil bit better this week: go for it! Every bit counts. Every effort is worth it. You're worth it. #RebelIsland," she concluded.

Her post was flooded with messages of praise from fans and her celeb friends, with Jennifer Aniston liking the photo and American actress Tasha Smith commenting: "You're my hero".

"You need to put pen to paper! Now that would be a book that would take pride of place on the shelf… DO IT!!!" he commented on the photo.

Back in June, Rebel shared the secret to her incredible five stone weight loss and confessed she puts none of it down to strict dieting.

She made it clear it wasn't extreme dieting that saw her body transformation but instead, "learning how to manage emotional eating and taking daily supplements".

Speaking with diet and fitness magazine Shape, Rebel said her healthy lifestyle came after turning 40 and looking into the possibility of freezing her eggs.

She said: "Experts told me the healthier I am, the better the process can go."

This was the kick-start that encouraged the actress to enter an Austrian health retreat where she learned how to adopt a healthier approach to her life.

Following her time at the retreat, she also took up moderate walking as a way to lose excess body fat.
