Raptors Fan Making Lewd Comment About Ayesha Curry on Live TV Is Arrested

Tristan Warkentin, who made inappropriate remark about Stephen Curry’s wife on Live Canadian TV, claims he has been receiving death threats because of his comment and plans to apologize to the cookbook author.

AceShowbiz -A man is going to face the consequence after making lewd comment about Ayesha Curry on live TV. Tristan Warkentin was arrested on Thursday, June 6 by cops in Toronto and charged with one count of mischief for his moronic action.

The Toronto Police Service said the 28-year-old Toronto Raptors fan was arrested for criminal mischief since he knew his comments would air on live TV. He’s scheduled to appear in a Toronto courthouse on July 11.

Tristan attended a watch party for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between Raptors and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday outside of Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. When CP24 reporter Kelly Linehan interviewed Raptors fans to get their reactions after the game, Tristan said, “The vibe was unreal and I just want to let everyone know Ayesha Curry we’re gonna f**k her right in the p***y.”

Kelly was bothered by Tristan’s remark and filed an official complaint with the Toronto police, who later launched a criminal investigation to find the suspect. Shortly after, Tristan, who works as an Ottawa area salesman, came out to admit that he was the culprit.

In a interview with the Toronto Sun, Tristan claimed he had been receiving death threats following his vulgar comment. Blaming alcohol for it, he said, “I’m not in a position to defend myself in terms of what happened. I am sure you understand the influence of alcohol.”

“What I did was disgraceful; it was an alcohol-influenced situation … To be honest I don’t even remember being there but I am responsible for my own actions at the end of the day,” he added, claiming that he’s “not sitting here claiming victim.” He went on saying that he plans to apologize to Ayesha, whose husband Stephen Curry (II) plays for Raptors’ rival team, the Warriors.

The Warriors won the game against the Raptors the night the incident happened, with Stephen dropping 23 points and 4 assists.
